This year has been full of amazing highs and the lowest of lows for me
The same story for music aswell
I think 2010 put out a new sound for music with music in the Charts soudin very different to two even a year ago. It has happened Music has evolved.
My obserations? Well;
Dance nd Techno Music turning commercail
RnB has officially evolved,RnB is now... RnB mixed in with dance and proper Pop( only girl in the world is a great e.g).
RnB now is basically Pop. Exept for one
Dubstep is nearly at the surface of mainstream - I suppose after the success of Magnetic Man and the amazing Katy B it's given a light to alot moe people in the UK
2 new phenomenal talents from the UK, for me they are Jessie J and Katy B.
Jessie J voice earns her the credit for one of the best vocalists this decade. Katy B bringing undeground sounds to the charts.
There are more but those are the few biggest ones for me
What has been the biggest musical highlight for you?
now I am going to leave you with a monster pop tune opps I mean RnB that is one of the largest songs in 2010.

Britain is not only diverse in people (in the main cities it sure is) but in type of music, art, theatre etc. There are just as many 'underground scenes' that are going on as well as the mainstream. What: you could say the mother of UK underground genres
Quite underground but known widespread. Loved form BNP skinheads to ghetto black boys from South London. If your British you SHOULD remember this song it was MASSIVE.
When: Probably been around before I was born :S (which is 1994) but was big in the early 2000s.

What: Big box, Little box, cardboard box. Hehe I'm messing but baseline does what it says on the tin. A heavy Heavy bass line bouncing all over the gaff. When: Midlands, apparently Sheffeild? Oi Oi Sheffield! Citizens must of been happs when this music got big.
Where: Well up in the oh so happy ends of England as everyone not form the South LOVES to remind everyone in the South. In the town centre, after getting a pill of the mandy and heading off to the one of five clubs in the city (okay this is me being an uppidity Londoner now, you lot might have a couple more.)

stereotype people who listen:
think 16-35 maybe more, in a little dingy room at a house party in South London (where the music originated from)with LOADS of weed smoke EVERYWHEREand alot more drugs and even more alcohol. Everyone just going crazy basically. Bass mind blowing. Floors vibrating. Neighbors getting pissed. Yeaaaah.
BEST EXAMPLE:
UK funky house (TIME TO GET FUNKY!)
What: yeaaaah. Its all about Funky.
Where: It wasn't orginally from the UK I think from NY by a artist called Dennis Ferrer but UK adopted with a smile and made it a bit into their own but not straying to far. Soulful house with the main ingredient: AFRICAN BEATS! AYYYE JAAYHOO.
When:Around the late 2000 so I remember hearing it around 2007?

We went into McDonalds on Oxford Street this song came on every black person no matter where they were from was singing this :D. It was such a good day even if there was fights and police vans and everything else there. But that's London for ya, never a dull (boring) day.
then Nicki Minaj decided to slip herself in :D.

Me! Coco [yes real name :P]

A lil music blog
Why:
Because I get a lot of friend requests and people asking to watch my videos on my fave website THE one and only YouTube so I thought 'hey, why not make a blog that could be like a little personal music libary that I wouldn't mind sharing [oooh what a good idea I should open one up] of songs and bands that may or may not get famous...' if you know what I mean.
